Choose your delivery spot straight on the map like in ride apps, a My location button on every map, self-recovering maps, and a wave of reliability fixes now on Google Play and the App Store
Platform / Product
The RA Delivery customer app now lets you pick your exact delivery spot directly on the full map, the way ride apps do: tap the map or the new button, pan the map under a fixed pin, and confirm with one tap. Every map gained a My location button, and maps now recover by themselves with a retry instead of getting stuck if Google Maps has a hiccup. A deep automated quality sweep also fixed a set of reliability issues across all four apps and the website. New app versions were submitted to Google Play and the App Store.
Pick where we deliver, straight on the map
- Open the full map and tap anywhere, or press the new select button: a pin stays fixed in the centre while you pan and zoom the map underneath, with live coordinates shown below.
- One tap on the confirm button saves that exact spot as your delivery location and fills in the address automatically.
- A new My location button on every map (customer and courier) jumps the map to where you are, just like in Google Maps.
- You can also open the map pin selector while adding or changing an address.
Maps that fix themselves
If Google Maps ever fails to load (a temporary network or service hiccup), the apps now show a clear message with a retry button instead of a stuck grey screen. This was added to every map in all four apps.
Reliability fixes from a deep automated sweep
- Cancelling an order now asks for confirmation first, and important buttons across the apps are protected against accidental double taps.
- The website empties your cart correctly after a cash order is placed, so a second click can no longer create a duplicate order.
- Fleet partners can now type the real email address when inviting a driver, and support requests are attributed to the right account.
- Order status labels are now complete in both Romanian and English, and website search says clearly when it is temporarily unavailable instead of showing empty results.
Published to the stores
All four updated Android apps were submitted to Google Play production, and the updated iPhone customer app was submitted to the App Store. The new map experience was verified end-to-end on a real Android device before publishing.
