Easier cart and delivery-address selection, a map pin for choosing where to deliver, restaurant icons, Romanian text polish, merchant menu tools, and more app updates submitted to Google Play
Platform / Product
A follow-up round of improvements to the RA Delivery apps and website: choosing and changing your delivery address in the app is smoother, the cart is always one tap away, the website now lets you drop a pin on a map to set exactly where you want your order delivered, restaurants show clearer icons, Romanian wording was corrected across several pages, and restaurant partners gained proper menu-management tools. Updated Android apps were submitted to Google Play, and an iOS update is being prepared.
A smoother cart and delivery address
- Changing your delivery address in the app now works reliably: instead of a blank screen, you are guided to sign in when needed and then shown your full address book, with the option to add a new address or use your current location.
- The cart is now always available from the main menu, so you can open it any time - even when it is empty - and pick up right where you left off after adding items.
Pick your delivery spot on a map
- On the website you can now drop and drag a pin on an interactive map to set exactly where you want your order delivered, both during sign-up and at checkout.
- The map keeps the position you choose steady, so the delivery point does not drift around while you are setting it.
Clearer look and correct Romanian
- Restaurant and product listings now show clear icons, with a tidy fallback when an image is not available.
- Romanian wording was corrected across the restaurant, fleet and courier sign-up pages and the homepage, so the text reads properly.
Tools for restaurant partners
- Restaurant partners can now manage their menu structure directly - creating and organizing categories and option groups, with the same validation the system applies behind the scenes.
- Signing up as a restaurant partner no longer requires an email address up front; a phone number is enough to get started.
App updates and what comes next
- Updated versions of all four Android apps (Customer, Courier, Merchant / Restaurant, Fleet) were submitted to Google Play production and are in Google's review and rollout process; the Customer update was checked on a real Android phone.
- An iOS update of the Customer app carrying these improvements is being prepared; its App Store submission is a separate step that will follow once the build is ready.
- Groundwork for serving additional cities and countries continued in the background, with new areas kept private until they are ready to launch.
